Artist Statement
"Designing labels has always been fun for me. I love getting to collaborate with friends and business owners, taking a concept and visually representing their brand. The mechanics of the printing process has always fascinated me, and I love incorporating intricate lines and gold inlays into the design."
Tom’s career in graphic design art began almost unintentionally. Drawn to the Art Nouveau style of his illustrations, a friend with a winery in Napa Valley asked him to design the labels for their wine. The delicate lines and intricate details captured the personality of the winery and romance of wine. Throughout his career, Tom has taken a distinctive approach to design dozens of logos, labels, and signs for small businesses around Central California.
